Foreigners market:

Every Saturday from 8h00 to 16h00 there is a market at the Oudevaartplaats, at the Stadsschouwburg of Antwerp. This Saturday market is also known as the Foreigners market. The foreigners market thanks its name to the many exotic vegetables and fruits you can buy here. In addition to Turkish, Moroccan and Southern specialties, you will also find local products.  

Bird market:

Every Sunday from 8h00 to 13h00 there is the famous bird market in Antwerp. This is originally due to the poultry that you can buy. But beside the poultry you will find stalls with clothes, household items and especially a lot of sweets. From 28/3 to 31/10 you can go there from 8 to 14 hours. In the winter months, the marketers close an hour earlier. The Theaterplein, the Graanmarkt and the Oudevaartplaats can accommodate 730 stands. The cozy atmosphere of the market continues on the surrounding terraces.
