The name ‘Icarus’ refers to the sculpture ‘Icarus’ that stands in the front garden of the practice. Icarus, from Greek mythology, is trapped in the labyrinth with his father. Icarus is creative and inventive, and with the help of feathers and wax, he makes wings to escape from the labyrinth by flying over the sea. However, he must be cautious: if he flies too low, his wings will get wet; if he flies too high, his wings will melt in the sun.
